We play short mat bowls in a very social
and friendly atmosphere. Come along and give it a try.
No membership fees - but pay per session.
We can even loan you bowls to get you started, and we make
great tea !!
Non-league social badminton club for ladies played in the
village hall every Wednesday morning, 9am - 12 noon, during
school term time only. No membership fees but pay per
visit. Join us for fun badminton, coffee and a chat.

The club meets on Monday and Thursday evenings from September to April at Minster Village Hall from 19.30 to 22.00 hrs. We are affiliated to North Foreland League and Badminton England, and would welcome new adult members with playing experience.

We have Speakers covering all aspects
of gardening & associated subjects. Spring & Autumn
Shows are held annually, along with 2 coffee mornings/plant
sales. There is an evening outing each June and a Sunday
outing each July for both members and friends.
New members are always welcome, especially those of younger

Friendly classes learning Qigong and Tai Chi, which
are Chinese Internal Health exercises, using slow movement,
focusing on meditation, relaxation and deepening of breath,
and so promoting clearer thinking to increase energy, and
meditation to take 'stress' out of life.
Currently teaching Tai Chi for Arthritis, based on the Sun
Style. Slow, gentle, easy movements helping with balance,
concentration and breathing.
Recommended by the Arthritis Foundation of Australia and
USA, also Arthritis Care UK.
Meetings: Second Tuesday every Month (except August) 7.30pm
Coffee & Chat: Every 3rd Thursday of the month 10am - 12noon in the Village Hall Committee Room - all welcome (inc gentlemen)
Our meetings normally consists of speakers
on a large range of subjects, a minimum of business, refreshments
and time to chat with friends. Other activities include
such things as a mini show, outings, darts, walks, classes,
and wine and wisdom; we also get involved with village events
such as the flower show, carol service and Christmas bazaar.
During the ten years leading up to the millennium we worked
on our 5ft x 12ft needle-work wall- hanging, designed by
one of our own members. It was given by us to the people
of Minster and now proudly resides on one of the walls in
the Village Hall.
